To be successful in this position, candidates must have experience working at a law firm, be a self-starter, possess strong communication skills, have exceptional attention to detail and be comfortable using technology.
Responsibilities Assist attorneys in the Insurance Defense practice areas including review and preparation of documents, petitions, related court filings and correspondence Prepare documents, client correspondence and pleadings Maintain communication with clients and provide information as necessary Effectively work with attorneys and support staff Desired Skills and Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree is required, Paralegal certificate is a plus 2 or more years experience working as a paralegal in a law office Interest and flexibility to work in various practice areas Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Team player with the ability to work well with others Excellent typing, spelling and grammatical skills with high degree of attention to detail Strong reading, writing and mathematical skills Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks Ability to maintain confidential information Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using new technology Along with competitive salary, we offer benefits including medical, disability, life insurance, profit sharing, and much more.
