Gunn-Mowery, LLC is looking for an HR Manager to add to our team! The Human Resource Manager leads and directs the routine functions within the Human Resource department - recruitment, onboarding and separation, compensation and payroll, benefits, training and development, employee relations and engagement, organizational development and compliance.
Handles licensing for agency and agency employees with state agencies and insurance carriers.
Maintains agency contract files.
This position can be held in any of our locations (Lemoyne, Lititz or State College).
Lemoyne office preferred, as this is our main office for most staff.
In this role, you will:
Partner with management team to understand and execute the organization's HR and talent strategy, specifically with recruitment, training and development, retention and termination.
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process by reviewing resumes, administering interviews and providing insight to hiring managers during the hiring process.
Provide support to the management team during disciplinary actions, investigations and terminations.
Manage and processes payroll for the agency as well as managing our HRIS system.
Prepare, conduct and finalize annual open enrollment process.
Collaborate with management on annual employee-related changes for the organization, including open enrollment, employee benefits and compensation.
Execute all personnel policies and manage the development of internal policies, including annual updates and revisions to the employee handbook.
Prepare and manage employee performance review process.
Oversee employee records, including personnel and benefit documentation, always handled with the utmost confidentiality.
Reconcile all vendor benefit invoices to enrollment and payroll deduction to ensure accuracy of coverage and amounts.
Develop internal monthly newsletter.
Spearhead Gunn Mowery's internship program.
Agency and producer state insurance licenses management - all licenses must be renewed and kept current including maintaining all records and licenses in electronic format.
Establish and maintain agency contract files and licenses.
Communicate and encourage educational opportunities - continuing education, E&O, licensing preparation, designations, etc.
Provide an avenue for open communication between management and employees while ensuring confidentiality.
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws, regulations and recommended best practices.
Review policies and procedures on a regular basis to remain current and compliant.
Continuance of education and staying current on HR trends, functions and responsibilities.
Possibility of visiting branch offices.
Present a professional, business appearance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you offer us:
Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience and/or training.
HR certification preferred (SHRM, HRCI, PHR, etc.
) Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
